Oenone (pronounced En-own-ee) is an exceptionally beautiful boat, easy to sail, and absolutely perfect as a day sailor or as an authentic classic race yacht. She really stands out on all occasions. Broker's comments: Oenone - Regardless of conjecture- what we do know is that she changed hands in a card game and sailed to Sydney in the late 50's, she was moored in Rushcutters Bay. Her then owner was "Kenny the cockroach", a colorful Kings Cross Identity. When Kenny passed away, the boat was faithfully restored by Shipwright Bob "Angry" Tearne. The next owner continued to race her competetively from Mornington. After that she came back to Sydney and sucsessfully raced on Sydney Harbour. Now ready for her new custodian.
