The 315 is the smallest yacht Hanse builds, and it is a Judel/Vrolijk design, which matters more than the length suggests. She has a proper sailing hull under her rather than a shape drawn purely for interior volume, and she rewards a helmsman who pays attention.

What sets her apart at this size is how little work she asks of you. The self-tacking jib means tacking is a matter of turning the wheel, so a short beat up upwind stops being a chore. Twin wheels open the cockpit right up, the transom folds down into a swim platform at anchor, and there is synthetic teak on the cockpit benches as standard.

Below she is brighter and better finished than most yachts of this length. Two genuine double cabins, the aft one with a door, and a separate head with a shower to port. Mahogany-style joinery, acacia soles and a Black Quartz worktop in the galley. Choose the 1.85 m L-keel for pointing ability or the 1.35 m shallow keel for the sandbanks and shallow anchorages.
