'Hayama' is a 2013 Hanse 495 and a rare example of such a highly optioned boat, with many top end upgrades such as Genset and Aircon.
Whether cruising or club racing Hayama's inventory has been constantly updated to ensure comfortable sailing with an eye to fast passage making, or club racing. Rig and sails have both been updated in 2023. So plenty of time to have low cost maintenance.
From a cruising perspective Hayama features, a large forward owners suite with ensuite including separate shower to stb and toilet to prt, twin aft cabins include access to the port head and shower. The large saloon comfortably includes the centre bench which integrates storage, seating and the retractable TV. The well optioned galley includes upgraded refrigeration (two drawer fridges, plus drawer freezer), dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, and large double sinks.
A large L-Shaped Settee to Starboard has plenty of room for entertaining the whole crew and adjoins a forward facing Nav table.
A 4kW Genset and full integrated air-conditioning with 4 aircon units, round out a very well optioned cruising solution.
Above decks Hayama, shows she can perform well with the sleek design by the renowned design team at Judel/Vrolijk. She will show great performance and has recently participated in Hamilton Island Race week. Handling is made easy, with all major controls lead back to the cockpit for ease of handling and short handed sailing. An electric main halyard / trimming winch and 2 speed secondary winches make for easy sailing.
The self-tacking headsail enables single handed tacks plus genoa tracks have been factory fitted for more light wind performance if an upgrade to a genoa was desired. The sail wardrobe includes a near new fully battened mainsail and self-tacking jib replaced in June 2023, both by North Sails. There is also a North Sails Gennaker (G2).
The Volvo 75 (with 3 blade folding prop) is easily accessed via the gas strut assisted lifting stairs plus side access and servicing is current until May 2026. Instrumentation is by B&G and Simrad and includes two updated chart plotters (cockpit and nav station) plus auto-pilot, AIS, and 3G Broadband Radar. There is a bow thruster, and the large boarding / swim platform, which is electrically operable.
The standing rigging was renewed in 2023 as were all new covers (dodger, bimini, infill, boom bag, plus table and wheel covers). Hayama features full teak decks and a Jeffa steering solution with upgraded black Y spoke composite twin wheels, this is a stunning head turner with a very solid list of significant extras.
Originally built to AMSA survey standard for 2C, 2D, 4C, and4D - the vessel has completed very little commercial operations. But may be an option to get back in without substantial cost, should that be of interest.
A detailed inspection is encouraged
