Sandpiper of Goolwa was design and built to survey for her current owner to sail the lower lakes. The owner has been a professional yacht master and captain of many river boat still operating on the Murray River. He is also a highly respected member of the Seven Seas Club with many incredible stories of boats he has managed and is still currently involved with. 'Sandpiper' is a shallow draft Cat rigged yacht with two lee boards to keep her on track. She has a 0.4m draft and with the lee boards up enabling her to cruise waters many other yachts cant explore. She is perfect for river cruising as a sailing yacht, motor cruiser or live a board. Constructed in November 1984, with an aluminium build designed for both comfort and safety in sailing.
