Details
Keppeluna, Scimitar 1010 #33 has had an easy important life in AMSA commercial survey in 2C, 4C and 1E promoting Keppel Bay and surrounds with family outings, day fishing charters including with ET and other fishing media highlights and VIP tours of Capricorn Coast and Keppel Bay Islands clocking only 2,030 hours and carefully maintained and refurbished with recent upgrades including new flybridge clears, flybridge cushion covers, helm seats, stern canopy cover, lounge seat covers and paint and varnish maintenance.

The 125hp Yanmar engines have new turbo chargers, most hoses replaced, new fresh water and toilet pumps and various other minor replacements along with 2,000 hour services.

Scimitars are very efficient vessels with semi-displacement hull design and shallow 0.8 metre draft and 5 metre beam for easy access, low maintenance and very economical 22 litres/hour average fuel consumption for 2 engines total cruising to 18 knots/hour over the last 6 years.

With many other charter vessels operating out of our Keppel Bay Marina, Keppeluna is now surplus to enable us to focus on other aspects of the marina business, the largest marina north of the Brisbane line while Keppel Bay Marina currently berths 12 Scimitars, the most popular vessel and that speaks for itself while Keppeluna is the only one in AMSA survey.
