Alexander Marine as exclusive importers of Galeon Yachts are pleased to present the Galeon 440 FLY to the Australian and New Zealand market.
Galeon has leveraged all of its storied boatbuilding experience to create the 440 FLY, a medium-sized motor yacht packed with intelligent innovations and a fresh approach to onboard space distribution. A dynamic silhouette combines with sporty accents throughout to create a boat that looks like it is moving even when it is standing still. Practicality and versatility were of utmost importance during the design phase of this model.
Stepping onboard via the hi/lo swim platform which extends the overall length of the vessel by three feet, extends from the transom and provides storage space for water toys. The swim platform features ladder access with steps that drop down into the water as the hydraulic swim platform descends, making it easily accessible for all ages.
Galeon Yachts are famous for introducing the Beach Mode into their small yachts, featuring deployable port and starboard balconies that substantially extend the width of the cockpit. This innovative design provides ample space for various activities and enhances the experience of entertaining guests onboard.
Moving inside, the saloon features a U-shaped upholstered lounge to starboard around a height adjustable table with extra seating to port complemented with an abundance of natural light, thanks to the large windows. The interior exudes luxury with its textures and timber veneers, creating a bright and open atmosphere.
The galley located to port, enables easy serving and provides ample space for food preparation, featuring an electric cooktop, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and plenty of storage.
The helm station offers excellent visibility and is equipped with Raymarine electronics. The sliding pilothouse door by the helm provides easy access to the bow.
Down below, the Galeon 440 FLY offers a three guest cabin accommodation layout. The three-cabin layout is a testament to thoughtful design and efficient use of space. It offers a level of accommodation and comfort typically found in larger vessels, making it an exceptional choice for those seeking luxury and practicality in a 44ft yacht. The midship full beam master cabin features a queen-size bed and private ensuite presenting a luxurious and hotel-like experience. The forward VIP guest cabin features a queen-size bed and to port is the third guest cabin featuring over and under bunks. A separate day head and shower is located to starboard.
Moving up to the flybridge via the set of stairs from the cockpit, guests are treated to a great view and easy access to various amenities featuring a wet bar with a fridge and bench seating that wraps around the helm. The upper helm on the flybridge reflects the same lower helm Raymarine electronics while the flybridge helm seat rotates to provide access to the dining table, accommodating a large number of guests.
The bow can be accessed via each side deck or through the pilothouse door at the helm station. The bow features a versatile sun pad with a removable backrest, providing comfortable seating for up to three people.
Powered by twin Volvo Penta engines, the Galeon 440 FLY cruises effortlessly at 20 knots and has a top speed of around 30 knots, with options for IPS or shaft drive powertrain.
The Galeon 440 FLY has numerous options for outdoor enjoyment for a day at sea, she promises a fun-filled experience ideal for coastal cruising and island hopping with friends and family.
