'Rob Roy' built by H. D and C. B Panton in 1981 a blue water boat that sailed extensively cruising the South Pacific and the East Coast of Australia before making her way to South Australia. The Topsides and the hull have been repainted and the rigging has been replaced in (2022). She is a double chine mast head sloop, steel hull and although there is some project element it isn't much more than a clean up and antifoul. The Current owner purchased the boat a couple of years ago and worked on the hull painting the undersides and deck. 'Rob Roy' has a great internal layout, large cockpit, easy deck to get around. Although the entrance is built and designed for blue water sailing with no sliding hatch it is not hard to get in and out once you work out the technique. Not only has 'Rob Roy' proven herself as a blue water cruiser she has also proved herself as a great day boat and a comfortable live a board.
