We assumed dry stack storage might make boating feel less spontaneous, but it actually had the opposite effect. Because the boat was always clean, protected, and ready to go, there was no mental hurdle of extra prep or post-trip cleanup. 

Short trips suddenly felt worth it, quick decisions were easier, and we found ourselves heading out more often than before. When the effort drops away, getting on the water becomes something you do – not something you plan around.
